Plenty of players managed a great start to the series in the Opening Ceremony, which was only a prelude to what was to come in the following days of the Mystery Bounty Festival. The tournament’s top mystery bounty was worth $3500, and it went to “Midnite89” who only managed an 18th place finish and a small cash on top of that, but nearly matched the prize won by the champion.įirst place prize went to “jadedjason” who also won $965 in bounties and took home a total of $4512 for his troubles, just slightly more than third placed “iamEklo” who won $2291 in bounty cashes and bagged a grand total of $4155.
The event attracted 307 entries, which were not enough to meet its guarantee, so players were effectively playing without rake and with some overlay up for grabs. Mystery Bounty Festival kicked off on February 19 with the $109 Opening Ceremony event, which featured a guaranteed prize pool of CAD $35,000.
